This is the realistic counterpart to the more abstract looking Fleshlight/Fleshjack Go Torque. Surge is a medium intense, ribbed texture coupled with a bottom orifice. It’s still light and portable and just as great as the full size version.

Smaller and lighter than the original Fleshlight, the Fleshlight/Fleshjack Go is a great addition to the lineup. I already reviewed the Torque version, and it was pretty sweet. Standing 8.5 inches (21.5) tall with 7.5 inches usable length (19cm) and 7-10.5 inches (18-27cm) in circumference. It weighs just around 400 grams, which is 200 grams less than the big brother. It’s notably easier to handle and less of the texture will go to waste. For most people at least.
True to tradition, the box is nice and simple. It displays the product and the exclusive texture, which in this case is series of diagonal ribs all over, in alternating directions, with some pointy nodules in the middle. It comes with a sachet of Fleshlube Water and a little information leaflet. The box is also sealed, which is a major plus in my books.
When I first opened this, I was met with a strange feeling Superskin sleeve. It felt a lot more like rubber and not as velvety soft as I’m used to. The powder that is supposed to give it a nice finish had clumped together and it was everywhere on the toy. Not particularly appetizing. A quick rinse was the only thing needed to bring it on par with regular Fleshlight standards.
Maybe they are trying out different formulas. The newly released Quickshot had an entirely different new feature; smelling like chemicals. So that could be the case.
The Go Surge sleeve is nice and soft even though feeling a bit more rubber-like than before. It is almost odourless, seamless and very high quality. The butt-type orifice is pretty tight, but the canal on the inside widens up a bit when compared to the entrance. As a side note, the opening itself is almost twice as large as the normal sized bottom orifice.
The texture sure feels nice, but not particularly intense. It reminds me of the Endurance Jack, where the nubs are gently massaging the shaft but in a very light and superficial kind of way. The ridges provides the slightest twisting sensation because of the alternating directions. The pointy nubs in the middle feels great. They grab onto and massage the head of the penis on each stroke. This is also the tightest point of the sleeve making it more intense right at the middle.
It is possible to adjust the amount of suction by twisting the end cap. I prefer to keep it slightly open as I feel like I get more out of the texture that way, with a slight loss of intensity. Shut tight, the Fleshjack Go Surge has some great suction forces to offer. The orgasms it helps produce, does more or less end up being both strong and satisfying.
Cleanup is easy with the Fleshjack Go as it is much smaller than the original. Just rinse everything with warm water and massage the sleeve a bit on the inside to get everything nice and clean. Squeeze out excess water and pat dry. Leave it hanging for express drying or just let it rest for a day or so before putting it back into the case. If the sleeve gets sticky, use Renewal Powder or cornstarch on it.
Fleshjack Go Surge overall
The smaller and lighter Fleshlight products has been a great hit. I can fully recommend these, even though the larger ones are a bit more comfortable and has more variation to them. Fleshjack Go Surge is a medium intensity masturbator with a unique texture that is perfect for those who do not want things to get too intense. Not particularly tight, it should fit most penises as well. Surge is definitely a great one, but not really my favorite. That spot is taken by Go Torque.
Fleshjack/Fleshlight Go Surge is available for around €50. It is available in the Fleshjack version with a butt orifice and a Fleshlight version with a vagina orifice. They are both identical except the front.
