Sliquid Ride Bodyworx

Sliquid has a range of different lubricants, and these three in the Ride Bodyworx line are made especially for men. We have one water based, one hybrid and one silicone based lubricant. All of which are runny, lightweight and very slippery.

Sliquid Ride Bodyworx Lubes were sposored by Net1on1 for an honest review. This does not affect my views.

Ride Water Based personal lubricant has a very low viscosity. It is unlike other lubes I have used, it barely feels like more than water. I get associations of cucumber juice or super thin Aloe Vera juice. It is slippery, but not in a typical lube kinda way. It feels more natural and works with the skin texture. The good thing is that it is not sticky at all once dried up. That may be explained by the lack of unnecessary ingredients – the list is very short. Perfect for when time for cleanup is limited!

Consists of: Purified water, Plant cellulose (cotton), Carrageenan, Nori, Wakame, Cyamopsis, Potassium Sorbate, Citric acid.

While it is not the best lube I have tried, it certainly is the best naked feeling, barely there lube I know of. It works great for masturbation products like Tenga and Fleshlights, but tend to dry out and need reapplication to finish a medium long session.

Ride Silk Hybrid lube is similar, but has 12% added silicone in it for greater slickness and longevity. It has a slightly creamy white tinge to it, but it still has that watery, barely there feel. It does not feel as soft and supple as the water based once dried up but it is still far from sticky.

Consists of: Purified water, Plant cellulose (cotton), Isopropyl Palmitate, Polysorbate 20, Dimethicone, Emollient ester, Potassium sorbate, Citric acid.

This is my go to of the three. It has a tad more oomph to it than the water based one. By all means it is still a very runny and watery lube, but it offers a bit more. The added silicone make it last longer and without the need to reapply.

Ride Silicone is one variant that is even more slick, but it also has that very runny and watery feel to it. More so than any other silicone lube I have tried, and I thought Überlube was thin. I do like that the thin formula really enhances the feel while reducing friction to a minimum. It does not feel like being covered in a numbing cloak like some thicker silicone lubes tend to do.

Consists of: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone

This one is really long lasting and the only one I’d use for penetratable action. It is the most durable and the one that feels most slick out of the trio. When it is left alone this too absorbs into the skin leaving it feeling incredibly smooth. Soap is needed to clean it though.

Ride Bodyworx Overall

I really love these lubricants for personal use. However they are all incredibly runny and not really enough to add that effortless and lasting glide for anal penetration. I’d not recommend to use these with insertable toys either. They tend to separate and run away fast on the toy’s surface. The silicone variant works great with metal toys and should work equally well with glass. While I prefer a bit more substance and texture to my anal lubricants, it certainly do a good job keeping me happy.

While the Ride lubes are slick as hell, I feel like they don’t quite enable that extra smooth movement I get from a thicker more creamy lubricants. But that just means it ends up being a different experience.

For masturbation, all of these are perfect, and the water based one is the most naked feeling lube I have ever tried. Perfect for those who do not really like lube. Or people who don’t want the lube to get all the attention, rather just be there and do its job silently. Ride lubes blend into the skin effortlessly and dries up quick when left alone.

I love that all Ride lubes are glycerine, paraben and fragrance free – Unflavored, hypoallergenic and non-toxic. The bottles are nice and simple and contains 125ml of the stuff. I do like the simple press to open caps which makes pouring the lube super easy.

If I were to pick one, I’d definitly go with the silicone lube – it is great and not at all complicated. It just adds the glide needed for all types of fun.

You can buy these from Ride directly: Water Based, Silk Hybrid & Silicone. They are affordable at just $13.99 – $22.99 for the 125ml. You also get the option for a 255ml bottle. Ride Bodyworx lubricants are supplied by Net1on1 in Europe.
